From my photograph diary…

As I start taking photographs, I realize that I’ve begun to discover myself again… At first I wondered what I should photograph, now I photograph everything…I think, I wondered what I should be photographing. Sometimes I find myself running to catch the sunset or following a cat on the street…Everything is so amazing, everything is so beautiful and full of mystery. It’s an exciting adventure and I’m very happy.

I am surrounded by different tendencies that confuse me…right now I’m interested in art history, especially painters.

The joy I get from “the moment” keeps increasing as I work; I’ve started leaving the fictional, which is an interesting development for me…outside of doing professional photography (fashion or design etc.), I’ve started thinking that the strength of a photograph lies in the degree to which it reflects reality. I mean, if I could offer a part of the reality of life, would there be anything more exciting?

In my opinion, a trimmed photo is not a good one; so, if you ask what should be done for a square format? I’d say, wait for the cameras o come out that can take square or rectangular photographs whenever you want. Until then just keep on taking square formatted photographs.
